Contact us
The quickest way to reach us is from inside the App: Settings, then Support, then Contact Support. That opens an email that already contains your app version and iPhone model, which is usually the first thing we would ask for. Request a Feature on the same screen works the same way.

Getting started
What do I need to use Wakify?
An iPhone with iOS 26 or later. The App is in English. You create an account during setup, so your alarms, streak and sleep history can be restored on a new phone.
How old do I have to be?
At least 16, wherever you live. The Terms of Use explain why.
How do I sign in?
With Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or a sign-in link we email you. Wakify has no passwords.
I did not receive the sign-in email
Check your spam or junk folder and wait a minute; some mail providers hold new senders briefly. Open the link on the same iPhone on which you asked for it. If it still does not arrive, request a new link or use Sign in with Apple or Google instead.
Alarms
How do I check that my alarm works?
Go to Settings, then Alarm not working?, then Test It Now, and tap Ring a test alarm. Lock your phone straight away: a real alarm rings about eight seconds later and runs the whole mission, exactly as it would in the morning.
My alarm did not ring
Work through these, in this order:
- Alarm permission. Settings, then Alarm not working?, then Open App Settings, and make sure alarms are allowed. Without that permission Wakify cannot set an alarm at all.
- The alarm is switched on, and set for the right days.
- Your phone was on and charged. If the iPhone restarted overnight and was not unlocked since, only the first system alert can ring.
- Volume. The first alert follows Settings, then Sounds & Haptics, then Ringtone and Alerts. Turn it up.
- Your Wakify+ access ended. Alarms that use a paid feature are switched off when a subscription or free reward time ends. Open the App and check your alarms.
If none of that explains it, contact us through Settings, then Support, so we receive your app version and iPhone model. For anything that really matters, always keep a second, independent alarm: no phone alarm can be guaranteed.
Does Wakify ring when my phone is on Silent or in a Focus?
Yes. Wakify uses Apple's alarm system, which rings through Silent mode and Focus.
How do I turn the alarm off?
Complete the mission. Stopping the alert from the lock screen or with a button is temporary: it rings again after about five seconds. Closing or force quitting the App does not stop it either; the alarm comes back within about ten seconds.
What if I cannot complete my mission?
If a mission is impossible, for example because a sensor is not working, a Can't complete? Dismiss link appears at the bottom of the mission screen once the alarm has rung for ten minutes and the mission has been on screen for at least 90 seconds. Missions that need the camera or microphone switch to the Math mission on their own when that sensor is unavailable or its permission was refused.
Can I snooze?
Only if you want to. New alarms have no snooze. In the alarm editor, the One-time 5m snooze switch allows one five-minute snooze each time that alarm rings.
Why does the alarm get so loud?
On purpose. While it rings, Wakify raises your volume to at least half, rising to full volume after five minutes, and turning the volume down does not take it below that. The sound you chose plays first, a buzzer takes over after three minutes and a siren after five. The sound stops on its own after thirty minutes of ringing. Never sleep with headphones plugged in by wire: iOS does not let Wakify move the sound away from them.
What is the Wake-up check?
A Wakify+ option per alarm. Ten minutes after your alarm, a second alarm rings without a mission; one tap on Dismiss stops it. It catches the moments you go back to bed.
An alarm did not ring after I ended sleep tracking
If you press End Sleep after a long enough night, Wakify starts your next alarm's mission there and then, and skips that one alarm if it was due within the hour. It only skips that single day. Section 3.6 of the Terms of Use describes it in full.
Missions
Which missions are free?
The Math mission is free, with the Wakify Classic alarm sound. The other missions, chaining several missions and the rest of the sound library are part of Wakify+. You can preview any mission before you subscribe. Anything marked with a crown in the App needs Wakify+.
Is the Pills mission a medication reminder?
No. It asks you to photograph your pills or vitamins, and the photo is only checked on your phone for whether it looks like pills. Never take a medicine, or an extra dose, to turn off an alarm, and do not rely on Wakify for medication timing.
Are my mission photos or voice recordings saved?
No. Camera frames and speech are checked on your iPhone and thrown away. Nothing from a mission is stored or sent anywhere.
App blocking and Screen Time
How does Block apps work?
Switch on Block apps for an alarm (Wakify+). iOS asks once for Screen Time access. From the moment that alarm rings, your other apps are shielded, except the ones you allowed, and they unlock a set number of minutes after you complete the mission. You set that number in Settings, then Alarm & Sleep, then Screen time delay. A snooze does not end the block.
My apps are still blocked
Open Wakify: while a block is running, Home shows a card with the time left and an Unblock button. To end every Wakify restriction at once, go to iOS Settings, then Screen Time, then Apps with Screen Time Access, and switch Wakify off.
What does Prevent App Deletion do?
It is off unless you turn it on, under Settings, then Prevent App Deletion. While an alarm is unfinished it stops apps from being deleted, so a half-asleep swipe cannot remove the alarm. iOS cannot protect one app on its own, so it applies to every app on the phone, and it lifts as soon as the wake-up ends and never later than twenty minutes after it started.
Sleep tracking and Apple Health
How do I track my sleep?
Tap Start sleep tracking on Home before you go to sleep and leave the phone near you. Wakify listens with the microphone and analyses the sound on your iPhone.
Is Wakify a medical device?
No. Wakify is a wellness app. Sleep scores, stages and snore detection are estimates, not medical measurements. If you are worried about your sleep, your breathing at night or your health, talk to a doctor.
Are my night recordings uploaded?
Never. Short clips stay on your iPhone, only if Night clips is on, for as long as you choose under Settings, then Preferences, then Keep clips for. They are not included in iCloud backups.
How do I connect Apple Health?
Go to Settings, then Connections, then Apple Health. Wakify can import nights from a watch or ring that writes to Apple Health, and can save the nights it tracked there as time in bed and time asleep.
Why are my sleep stages different from my watch?
Every device estimates sleep stages its own way, and a phone on the bedside table measures different signals from a watch on your wrist. When a watch has recorded the same night, Wakify uses the watch's stages.
Subscriptions and payments
What does Wakify+ include?
Every mission, chaining missions, the full alarm sound library, recording your own sounds, Wake-up check, app blocking, the sleep score, sleep stages and the full sleep report. Section 6.1 of the Terms of Use has the complete list, and prices for your country are shown in the App before you buy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then Wakify, and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Deleting the App or your Wakify account does not cancel a subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which you use through Apple too. If Apple does not resolve a refund you are entitled to, email us and we will sort it out.
I paid, but Wakify+ is not active
Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with, then go to Settings, then Preferences, then Restore purchases, or tap Restore on the subscription screen. If that does not help, email us with your Apple receipt.
Will I be reminded before my free trial ends?
If you ask for it when you start the trial, Wakify schedules a notification one, two or three days before it ends. It only arrives if notifications are allowed, so check your renewal date in your Apple Account settings too. Cancelling in time is up to you.
What happens to my alarms when Wakify+ ends?
Alarms that use a paid feature, such as a premium sound or mission, Wake-up check or Block apps, are switched off and stay exactly as you set them. Alarms that use only free features keep ringing. Check your alarms when your access ends.
How does Invite Friends work?
Share your code from Settings, then Invite Friends. You earn one month of Wakify+ for every friend who enters your code and buys a yearly plan. Section 6.8 of the Terms of Use has the details.
Leaderboard and your profile
Who can see my profile?
Only people using Wakify, and only once you have chosen a username. They see your name, username, photo, streak, badges, bio, social handles and whether you have Wakify+. Never anything about your sleep. Turn on Settings, then Private Profile to take yourself off the leaderboard and hide your profile completely.
How do I block or report someone?
Open their profile from the leaderboard, tap the ••• menu, and choose Block or Report. Blocked people are listed under Settings, then Blocked accounts, where you can unblock them.
My profile was hidden
When three different people report a profile, it is taken off the leaderboard automatically until it has been reviewed. Your account and data are not affected. Open the notice in the App and tap Disagree with decision to ask a person to review it.
Your data and your account
How do I download my data?
Settings, then Preferences, then Export my data gives you a file with your profile, settings, alarms, sleep summaries, wake-ups, streak, badges, referral state and consent history.
How do I switch off analytics?
Settings, then Preferences, and switch analytics off. It takes effect immediately.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, then Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone: your account and its data are erased and cleared from your phone. Cancel any subscription with Apple separately. You can also email us from the address on your account.
Where are the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use?
The Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and, for residents of US states with consumer health data laws, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
